Day 19 - Day after Independence day.. Camp 2. Day 1

Woke up at 0640.. thanks to Kelly's Trusty Panasonic HP... oops.. sorry.. angmohs here call it CellPhone.. and also to the smell of delicious bacon!! Christina's mum got up bright and early to make us breakfast.. awww.. isn't that sweet of her?? SHe made us bacon n scrambled eggs.. with toast and honey dew.. She even packed lunch for me and sarah! How thoughtful..

Anyway.. we got to the camp on time.. 0826.. saw Joe just before us.. and asked him abt the girl that was with him last friday during the graduation.. n he explained dat it was his girlfriend. chey..thought it was some kid's sister dat he picked up.. if he did dat.. he would have became my 'ou xiang' hahaha.. cheat my feeling.. hai.. anyway.. steve told us that we have a problem with the bus.. haha.. ittish after the 4th of july!! Its a holiday!! Mis comm between duno who and the bus driver.. the kids parents will have to drive them there themselves.. Calls were flooding in.. and kids are streaming in slowly.. we did the usual intro.. swim test.. test sail.. to see their lvls.. name games.. n lunch.. now.. this buncha kids are kinda different.. so we din use the sorting hat.. oh well.. this buncha kids are too cool to do that. haha.. but nahmind.. no kid is too cool for me man!! WAhaha! just too bad i won't be involved much in this camp.. there's this particular kid dats kinda weird.. his name is Danny.. he is some sorta quiet.. n then suddenly he will get excited n start jumping all over the place.. he doesn't mix arnd much.. or rather not at all.. so.. i found him sitting on a boat on shore while everybody was in the water doing capsizing.. so i spoke to him.. and brought him to his group... he say he dun like the water at first. then he found it cooling.. n then he started playing.. and zoning off.. but he had fun.. dats all it matters.. I sat with him during lunch.. talked to him.. and found out that he love cheese... i shared some of my kraft's cracker with cheese dip.. and jellos with him.. he like blue and green.. so i gave him the blue and green coloured ones.. n then he offered me half of his cheese.. nice.. then i made him promise me dat he will not hang arnd the back of the class.. n dat he will make some friends by the end of the camp.. and must sit infront of the class.. we shook on our little finger on dat. haha

I took a boat out to sail with the advance class after dat.. n I was capsizing all over the place.. haha.... doing stupid dry walk over which failed pathetically.. I wonder if i'll suck big time when I go back and sail the laser.. hmm.. hope not man. anyway.. i was disturbing the sailors.. got the 'cool' kids to do some stupid stuffs with me.. haha.. then i did the windsurfer tack.. the first few times i fell... n then i got arnd the mast... step on the deck..n i slipped landing butt first and sliding towards the end of the boat.. hahaa... it was farnee.. christina and katie saw and they were laughing their heads off. haha it was farnee.. i think i kinda injured my neck abit thou.. gotta watch it...

Anyway.. Sarah and Christina sent me home after.. had a nice salmon for dinner.. then went out to race.. Chrissy is gonna be my crew today!1 ahhaa.. CHio bu AH!! she's this very nice tempered girl... with a good attitude to everything.. she's really cool..and she's got the loveliest eyes ever! haha.. anyway.. she doesn't race much.. but she catches on pretty fast.. and she listens to instructions pretty well.. so.. we went out sailing.. Pooor Jules gotta sail with her sister.. wahahha.. too competitive for her... I hope Jules gotta sail with her sister for the whole summer.. then i can sail with chrissy!! haha.. anyway.. Chrissy n I were sailing up wind.. then I decided to go back.. then i heard a whistle n saw tons of boats scrambling off the line! OOPS! miss the start! haha.. turned out that the committee boat screwed up kinda.. n I got another 30 seconsd! hahah.. Good sTUFF!! we din start very well thou.. we were like the 9th boat or something.. we caught 2 boats on the run.. we took Steve n wife cos they din set their sail properly.. we caught another boat cos i covered them.. n got the overlap and did a very nice mark rounding.. haha.. first time.. then.. i got a lifter on the inside of the course.. n I rounded the mark 3rd. AHhahhaA!! Goot STUFF!! a storm threatened to hit.. and we had to sail back after doing only one race.. we overtook 2 boats on the way back.. brought the boat up.. and realise that we din put the bunk in! Hahaahahahaha we were sailin with a hull full of water! N still got 3rd!! Pretty good huh? haha.. can u imagine otherwise? confirm 1st ah! hahahaha.. with room to spare! anyway.. it was good fun..

Then.... I notice steve and Mike going out on a chase boat.. I duno wat happen.. but somebody mentioned that a boat capsized outside... and needed help... then we heard sirens.. 3 fire engines and ambulances.. 1 water rescue team.. 1 media team. came.. 2 coast guards boats came zooming in from left and right.. to the capsized boat. i'm like. wah seh.. people drown or wot. so tua zhong.. but its damn blerdy fast.. its only like 5 or 10 mins only.. some ass must have called them.. oh well.. so chriss, jules and I went over to the lifeguard hut to tell them that there isn't anybody hurt.. and that they can ROLL OUT.. by the time we got there.. they somehow got the msg and bugger off already.. by this time.. the rain started pouring.. then the sun came out.. and WAlla!! there was this FULL rainbow right across the cove. Man.. I haven't seen a full rainbow before.. and I DON'T HAVE MY BLOOMING CAMERA!! sigh.. anyway.. it was a magnificient sight.. What a way to end the day..

Thoughts of the day: dis blog thingy is starting to suck.. cos i can't really bitch abt people! ahahha.
