Day 14 - Back to Basics

Mood right now : Sian.. (cos I might not have a 4th of July Party to go to!!!!) & very thristy!! can never get enuff water here!!

- The Presentation
- Vomiting blood
- Cleaning up
- Racingggggggggggggggggggggg
- Chinese fOod!

The normal cycle.. we had a nice chat again.. thus slowing down the pace.. we did 19mins 50 seconds.. not too bad.. considering we were just chilling and cruising down.. MAn I need to work those thigh muscles.. GOtta go ask Christina if she would let me sail her laser.. hmm... I miss those boats. Maybe I was wrong to sell my boat.. hehe.. anyway.. no regrets. I need the cash.

As I was going outta the cabin.. Steve said 'Goodbye Johnnnnn' and the rest of the instructors were going.. yeah.. good bye.. We miss you.. blah blah. ahhaa... i thought it was pretty sweet..i think i blushed... wahahaha.. Yeah.. those buncha fellas are fun... if only the whole thing is about racing.. BUT.. a surprise awaits me.. haha sucky.....

the new kid came. Ross.. he doesn't know how to rig up his boat.. not very willing to try.. can't pay attention to anytyhing..a nd just wanting to jump the gun all the time.. Theo din’t do very well yesterday either.. SO.. I spoke to Eileen if I could just take them for like n hour in the day and see if I could sort them out to get them up to speed so that they can join the rest of the group. Hardluck.. They took me the entire day.. and I still can’t get them up to speed. I can see some improvements.. But.. my standards are high.. I’m not easily satisfied. I have to keep shouting at Ross.. but he caught up better than Theo.. I guess.. theo.. is just not sailing material.. he is would you guys will call a nerd.. he got a theoretical explaination or answer for anything. Seems pretty knowledgeable too! Oh well.. Its sailing we wanna teach here.. I can foresee a whole summer of teaching beginners.. There’s gonna be another 2 more sailors coming in next week.. I wont’ have a lot of time with them. Unless they can stay back after 3. I’ll do whatever I can to get them up to speed.

Well.. when they were done.. I had the normal cleaning up of the area with Eileen.. and her powerboat was filled with mud polka dots.. cos she helped somebody upright their boat… which was nice of her.. but she din have to go arnd telling the whole world dat.. heheee.. so.. I got back to the trailer.. and I noticed that the trailer is in an absolute wreck! Sand all over the carpet.. and grass.. I took out the vacuum cleaner and I vacuumed the place.. nice and neat and tidy.. hopefully it will stay that way. Hehe..

When we got home.. a very familiar smell greeted me! Its egg Drop shouP!! Haha. HOME!!! We hat it with fried chrispy noodles.. some rice..and stirred fried vegetables.. with beef! Very neat! I need to go get some recipe to cook some Chinese food down here.. they wanna try.. it’lll be neat!

Anyway.. steve and I left for a race later.. it’s the Wednesday night big boat race.. we race on Mike Mueller boat.. but he is not home this week. So his sister Kemp.. skippered the boat.. Steve talked her into a good start.. the good thing abt her.. is that she is quite decisive. So there is not guessing or something.. and she doesn’t pinch.. and she steers her boat well! We were off to a great start! Perfect! On the dot! And we were the 4th boat to finish.. we got an hourglass on the spinnaker on the last run down.. else we would have been 3rd.. sigh.. oh well.. it was fun nonetheless and a very wonderful evening out by the sea and the setting sun.

We went to Schlutz bar to collect the results later.. but the fella din come.. we met another guy and ask if we could get it from him on Thursday.. Steve went in.. and I needed to go to the toilet so bad.. so.. I saw a bush. Kinda forested.. and I stepped into it.. and did it there.. Army style! Hahhaah. And GOD! Was it such a relif or wot. Haha.. Steve saw me and he said.. ‘U really needed to go, huh?” hha.. like DUH!!

Anyway.. it was a fun night.. everything’s cool.. Oh YES! I’ve got a postcard from Tessaduddie!! Its got this really awesome picture of Hugh Jackman on it.. he is not exactly my fav guy.. cos I’m jealous of him.. nice cheasled jaws.. nice height. Built… man…. And that chest hair.. wahahahah just kidding.. but yeah.. it was sweet to get a postcard.. homely! I still can’t get myhands on any postcard to send back thou.. hehe..

Oh well.. I should be off to bed.. I’m tired. I need more sleep..

Oh yeah.. Anna got a bad stomach.. she kept going to the rest room last night.. hope she is feeling better already
