Normal cycle trip to work, nothing fantastic happened along the way.. took 19 minutes this time round.. woo.. we are slowly getting faster.. we need longer routes! I finally plucked enuff courage to ask steve about the slight difference in my pay against others.. well.. turns out that it is because I do not have a US coaching licence.. tsk.. I don’t really mind the difference.. but the money could come in useful.. and I just want to know that I’m not being short changed or anything.

Well.. Today is my first day with the Optimist Travel Team Kids.. Pretty mixed feelings.. Excited.. but the prospect of working with Eileen doesn’t seem to thrill me… guess I got more attached to working with Christina.. She carries a ready smile for anyone.. and the sailing groove haha…. It’s a little jiggy dance dat she do.. kinda dorky.. but its cute! Wahaha.. now now guys.. dun get the wrong ideas aey.. chill chill..

They were pretty late.. they spent a lot of time rigging up their mast.. learnt later on that that is what they will be doing every morning.. man.. Then I suggested to Eileen that we should make a rack to hold up the mast so that they don’t have to derig every day.. Well..she bought the idea.. so she’s gonna go suggest it to her dad..the Miser Money Man.. oops.. did I just say that? anyway… I hope he approves it.. and tat should saves us sometime and give the kids more time on the water. Did some drills in the water.. I found the kids all lacking… especially Theo.. darn.. he needs a lot of work.. The afternoon went decently.. Theo is still lost.. still haven’t picked up anything yet. Guess I would have to pull him aside tm and teach him one on one.

Eileen, has a character that of Captain Charles Silvester Sagaidivan. My army friends will know how much time and fun I had guailaning him and going head on with him. Due to the way he works. The Type that wants things their way and very persistant about it.. very hard to work with anybody that actually has a mind?

I was actually sad in the morning.. cos I’m stuck with her.. she’s going arnd shouting and stuff.. and I just sat in the powerboat.. THeN! NS mentality came in! Aiyar.. boh Chup la! She want to shout, shout lor.. anyway.. I’m still getting paid wot.. Wahahahaa! Then immediately I felt better.. Then later.. I found a better way of doing stuff.. I pointed out things that are wrong on kids boat.. and she shouts them out! Save me trouble! I get to say to the kids what I want to be said.. she gets to say it and show who’s boss! Great deal! So we sat together for a while to discuss what we should do the next day.. same thing.. subtle suggestions.. if she doesn’t want it.. so be it. I tried. We haven’t really talked abt how the kidsa re going to be splitted up thou. Oh well.. either way. It’ll be fun. I hope.

Came back home.. Watched ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ with Anna and Isaac in his room sweet show… read Isaac a book.. Anna was tying me up and spinning me arnd.. haha.. farnee. Then we had a wonderful dinner of roast beef / mash potatoes / bread / honey dew / mix vegs. Then we went down to Boat US to pick up some Oars for Grandpa, down to the sailing centre to drop of some sodas. And back home.. Saw a coupla fire engines.. they were there testing things out.. and I took a few pics of them. Pretty retro looking ones..

Thoughts of the day: I learnt how to control myself a lil more.. and how to work with difficult people like the type of ABNN.. This summer.. is how I am gonna make it. Whether I have fun. OR I can suck thumb for the next 2 months. I’m gonna make it HELLUAVA FUN!
