Day 8 - Lil Alex got hurt..

Mood: SLeepy.. but excited..

Joke of the day: I took a boat out with Gene.. and we forgot to take out the gAs Tank.. only realised it when the engine died when we were out in the middle of the bay. haha

Big event: Alex got hit by the boom and bleed profusely from the temples.. but he was a brave lil boy.. din shed a tear... wasn't fazed by the blood.. Brave Kid! He was the one that came up to me and said he like the Sorting Hat thingy that I did to put them into different groups.. I thought that was very nice of him. very sweet.

Camp: The lessons went on very smooth.. Put Steve on the spot when he came arnd to visit us... Got him to race against the kids.. loser have to bring candies for winner! haha. and Steve won hands down.. pretty impressive.. got off on the port favoured side.. and never look back since.. Garrett Toey had a chance of getting him.. but too bad he tacked.. sigh.. We did the 2 boat lengths rule after lunch.. it was pretty cool.. went out.. and race again.. Christina won 1 outta 2 race.. Eric and Andrew did really well. so thats kinda neat to see him pick up so fast.. Matt.. did well for a race.. and after that.. he became a drifter.. poor fella.. anyway... lil Leslie was crying.. and Corey asked me to go check her out and see wats up with her. I got over.. and decided to sail with her.. she did alright after that.. she does an excellent job trimming the mainsail! I hope she manages to do the same for the helming part tm!

After Camp: Got home.. Steve gave me the good news of finally receiving the travel Opti Schedule.. we start on the 29th.. and we get the fri and monday of Independence day off! YAya!! but i'll prolly help out arnd the centre. hehe... oh yeah.. Steve hurt his finger pulling the boats up today.. there's this huge arguement with Dave about leaving the boats out on the mooring.. i'm with steve leaving it out on the mooring.. but i hate wading out to the boat early in the morning.. Its cold!! Brrrrrr haha.. Dave.. is this character.. that ressembles Cpt Charles Silvester Sagaidivan. (18 DA fellas..quit sniggering... Its not funny!) worse thing is.. Dave.. sits on the Board of committee.. oh well. GRIT MY TEETH! MIke Mueller asks if I would help out with the Adult Sailing Program at the club in the evening. I said I would mind.. thou I would much rather race.. but then again. I got un-invited from Dave's boat.. guess I talked too much the last time I was on his boat.. haha.. I don't quite agree with how he sails.. but he still wins.. hmm.. maybe dats why i haven't won yet.. sucker... anyway.. I took Steve's Racer bike down to the centre.. its kinda cool.. gives me the kinda work out I would need.. on my Quads.. so I can still be sailing fit.. I think i'll be doing more of it! It'll be kinda neat! I think I might just do it again tm. shall see how it goes.

Terry is the guy that helps out alot at the centre with the adults.. Well. I din agree with his teaching style either.. sigh.. i dun seem to like alot of people do I? But what i see is a bunch of confused, irritated.. agitated, constipated and fustrated face on the water.. they are doing gybing today.. when some of them don't even know how to tack.. and can't tell where the wind is coming from and can't even sail a straight line! Geez! Gene and I took a boat out.. and half way it died.. we forgot to bring out the Gas tank! haahhaa... Biggest joke! anyway.. tat was fixed..

I cycled home.. steve came looking for me. and he gave me a ride back.. neat.. I got invited to Gene's boat for a race this sat and sun... I'm not sure if it is just for Saturday.. cos i might go to the drive in's with Christina.. and she lives an hour away.. it'll be late.. since it only gets dark at 9.. so.. I duno. haha.. shall see.. BUt I wanna raCE! and I wanna go to the Great American Drive In's!

Dinner: Spaghetti.. nice! with rolls..and salad.. woo.. very nice.. getting fat.. haha.. we talked abit more.. Steve made a comment that I could talk to Mike Mueller abt getting me a job at P&G since he worked in the HR department last time.. I duno .. I don't mind.. but.. I wouldn't be sailing.. hmm.. play it by the ear.. what do u guys think?

Thought of the day: IF I shake a can of COke real hard.. adn submerge it into a Pot of Boiling Hot water.. I wonder what will happen.. Hmm..
