Day 11 - Corny Corns Corns!

- Replace Main Halyard

- Search for Monster with Issac

Had a side bet with Terry on how long we will take to change the Main Halyard.. I said 2.. and she said 3.. well.. we took 2 hrs exactly. haha.. lucky guess.. Good thing there was this guy Bobby. Man.. he is fantastic.. SO GOOD! I seldom admire people.. but he is one.. oh my goodness gracias! So good with his hands... the way he fix things and use things to double up and such.. man.. he is good.. He is also a very good foredeck fella too! PRetty good crew.. at least not like me.. jump in to bark command at people.. like going to override the skipper.. sigh.. i get too excited.. I did the most terrible thing today! I held the tiller and bear away!! MAn! What n IDoiT! Dat is the cardinal rule of sailing on big boat! Skipper is final and never never NEVER take over the boat! IT's an insult! ANd.. Oh.. I tore his Genoa.. Sigh.. its a very nice sail. I was trimming.. and they switched skipper.. and the foredeck din skirt.. it got caught on the duno wots it called.. and it tore.. MAn.. i swear I am such an idoit..... i felt really bad after that.. Well. I skippered the boat back afterwards.. and I over took the boat that beat us... I swear I can sail the boat to a higher potential... it is actually quite a fast boat. and the other boat can't figure out why we just kept going faster and faster. haha the look on their face.. Sigh.. I should try to find a fast boat to skipper.. ???? hmm..

Then Bob was telling us about the corn that was selling at the farm nearby... Terry and I decided to go check it out.. I bought 6 corns and 2 honey dew.. MAn.. IT was SOOO GOOOOOD!! I mean.. I havent' tasted corn so crunchy and so sweet before.. goodness.. It just breaks in your mouth.. it is a bastardised corn thou.. a cros between the yellow and white corn..

Oh yeah. I left my gloves in Gene's boat yesterday.. and I took it today.. and notice burn marks on the gloves.. It was from when the rope got torn outta my hands yesterday.. Man.. the glove got burn right thru.. it got a hole in it.. and on the right hand.. it burn the rubber such that it is hardened like rubber.. Goodness.. i can't imagine what will happen if I do not have the glove on.. Thanks Kerry.. for the wonderful birthday gift!

So.. I came back.. The house was locked.. good thing Steve told me where the secret stash for the key was.. Got it out.. and let myself in.. Saw a note on the fridge that they went sailing.. I got a peace yoghurt and sat myself infront of the computer.. again.. *groan*

The came back shortly after.. and Issac ask if I would go Monster hunting with him... So i went arnd the whole house and 'search' for monster.. and we actually 'Found' some!! AWESOME! We went up to the attic.. They've got a pretty cool attic! If only they renovate it so that I can sleep there. Man! dat will be awesome! ahhaa.. haha.. kids.. they are fun.. then we had dinner.. very nice dinner.. chicken.. corn.. spaghetti.. salad.. bread...

Thoughts of the day: I should learn how to relax myself.. and go with the flow.. and be less competitive when I'm on the boat.. and HAVE FUn.. I duno how to have fun.. I worry too much.. and consider too much.. Ease up john!
