- Race

Cycle to the sailing centre for the first time on the bike that Steve got me.. it was pretty cool...20 mins is all it takes.. I wish it could be longer.. then I'll get a half n hour work out.. of hard pedaling.. Dat should keep some fat off.. *cross fingers*

We did some drills for the morning.. very light wind.. kids were pirating all over the place.. we just let them run wild..haha.. on the way back.. I was playing with the powerboat again.. I swung it arnd hard. and she flipped right outta it.. darnit.. I did it again. she's the wot.. 9th?? oh well.. she looked really scared for a second.. and I was really worried dat the prop might hit her.. I felt really bad about it.. I apologised to her after.. and she even said if steve reprimanded me or something.. she'll say that she fell down on purpose.. man.. isn't that very sweet of her??

Anyway… we did some backwind sailing after lunch.. the kids pirate some more.. Steve came out for a while.. we got the kids to chase after him.. only garrett Toey manage to get him because steve (he was nice about it) ‘screwed’ up his 720.. To prove the point that doing good 360’s and 720’s is important.. I thought that was very gracious of him. But the rest of the kids din manage to catch him. It was sorta disappointing.. I expected them to do more than just that. I know that they are capable of it.

Steve and I had a very relaxing cycle back home and we had pizza for dinner… When I got back.. Anna gave me a parcel.. and it was addressed from Singapore.. I was only expecting a postcard from Tessadudie but this was a big parcel.. Like a book. Well.. it turned out that it was really a book.. and it was from Lena! A very very sweet thought… Guess I’m more well liked by people than I thought I was. Haha.. But it was very very heart warming to receive something so nice and thoughtful from her.. Man.. thinking of it right now.. Losing the race aint’ all that bad.. I still have my friends… Thanks, Lena! Suzanne, Steve and myself went on down to the sailing centre afterwards for the Monday nights small boats racing. On the JC15s.. wind was still light.. but they proceeded anyway.. There is two boats that I want to beat primarily. Dave and his daughter Eileen. Not that I have anything against them. But they want to prove a point. And I want to prove a point. Ego thingy la.. But it is important.. but I din manage to beat them.. I can come up with a thousand and one excuse why I din.. But at the end of it all.. I only have myself to blame… SO.. I’m gonna sail the boat more and I’ll beat them at them before the end of the season. Outta 5 races.. I came in last the first race.. 3rd the 2nd. 6th for the 3rd and 4th race.. and 3 for the last race.. Came in 6th overall.. outta 7 boats.. tsktsk.. I was kinda disappointed.. but I am more determined to do well in it the next time.. but then again.. if I’m pressing myself too hard.. I’m prolly not enjoying myself.. so.. well.. I’ll choose having fun! And still beating them! Wahahahah! Oh.. and Lee just called and left a message… its nice of her to call too.. hehe

Thoughts of the day: Tomorrow.. I’ll be starting on the Travel Opti Squad. I’m gonna be missing working with Christina.. It was very fun.. Had a good time with ya chris! Oh OH ! I’m gonna go see the TALL SHIPS this Friday with her! YAY!
